Bancroft Specialty camps give the opportunity to OWN YOUR ADVENTURE and explore what you are curious about. It is the ultimate way to try new and exciting things across Leadership & Skills, STEM and the Arts. Plus you will have a lot of fun doing it!
Own Your Adventure
Our STEAM camps offer exciting hands-on experiences in areas like rocket building, robotics, drones, coding, and LEGO engineering. Campers will explore creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork, all while having fun and discovering the world of science, technology, engineering, arts, and math!
Our arts programs offer creative exploration in musical theater, photography and graphic design, filmmaking, and multi-arts. Campers can perform on stage, capture stunning images, create digital art, produce their own films, or experiment with a variety of artistic mediums, all while building confidence and having fun!
Our leadership and skills camps are packed with exciting hands-on adventures! Campers will dive into the world of sports management, run their own lemonade stand, or compete in the fast-paced world of e-sports. It’s all about building leadership, creativity, and teamwork — with tons of fun along the way!
S.T.E.M.
Join us this summer for Eureka!, where creativity and problem-solving come to life! To start the day, kids will tackle fun challenges using basic materials, simple machines, and tips from famous inventors—building catapults, light sticks, and circuits along the way. Afternoons will have campers diving further into the world of STEM creating both engineer-designed and unique projects with LEGO. Eureka! campers will kick off the summer with endless opportunities for creativity, learning, and fun!

Join us for STEAM Squad, a full-day camp that blends science and art for a hands-on, creative experience! Students will tackle engineering challenges like building bridges, testing their strength, and learning about famous inventors and their impactful creations.
They’ll also explore their artistic side through drawing, sculpture, and collage-making, inspired by artists like da Vinci and Kahlo. STEAM Squad encourages creativity, innovation, and confidence, helping students combine science and art in exciting new ways!

Blast off into adventure at Expedition Mars camp!
As future space pioneers, campers will embark on an exciting journey to Mars, using robotics to build rovers inspired by the Curiosity and Perseverance missions to explore the Red Planet’s mysteries. With gears, axles, motors, and RoboThink’s innovative hardware, they’ll even construct a spaceship to return home.
During the afternoons, campers will become rocket scientists, exploring flight, propulsion, and rocket design while launching a real model rocket each day. They’ll also build and take home their own rocket at the end of the week!
No experience needed—just prepare for an unforgettable interplanetary adventure!

Welcome to Spy Academy, where kids become secret agents and aviation experts in one thrilling adventure! Young agents will take part in hands-on, secret agent-themed activities, such as playing detective, exploring forensic science, sharpening surveillance skills, and cracking encrypted messages.
Aspiring spies will also journey through the world of espionage, building and flying high-tech spy jets, stealth aircraft, and futuristic planes designed for secret missions. No prior flying experience is required—just a passion for adventure and the sky! At Spy Academy, kids will unleash their inner aviator and super sleuth, all while having a blast on their spy-filled missions!

Welcome to Wild Robots, where robotics and wildlife art come together! In this exciting program, kids will design and build animal-inspired robots, from dogs to unicorns, while learning the basics of robotics—working with motors, gears, and more.
They’ll also explore wildlife conservation, discovering how famous conservationists protect endangered species around the world. Through art, students will create animal-themed projects using Crayola materials, from frog paintings to polar bear sculptures.

In Codemoji, students will learn the basics of coding and computer science as they are immersed in STEM activities. Students will collaborate to program robots to complete tasks, work with emojis as they dive into the Codemoji platform, and participate in offline unplugged coding activities and games. Throughout the program, students will design a website and learn to utilize their newly acquired coding skills to advance through interactive lessons. The Codemoji program will challenge your students as they advance through HTML, CSS, and JS coding basics and will promote the desire to continue their coding learning outside of the classroom!

Does your student want to learn more about how video games work? In Codemoji’s Game On, students will take their skills to the next level while learning about coding basics. During the week, students will be introduced to coding languages and how game animations are made while utilizing their new knowledge to create mini-games including “Shark Eats Fish,” “Treasure Hunt,” and more!

Get ready for Drones @ Bancroft Summer, the ultimate adventure where drones, coding, and creativity collide! This high-energy camp lets campers take control of 4+ types of drones, including flying Tello drones, Spheros, Parrot Jumping Drones, and Indie Bots that use color patterns to code their movements. Each drone offers its own unique set of challenges and thrills!
Campers will work in teams to master the art of drone control, racing through obstacle courses, and designing their own custom drones with eye-popping colors and patterns. They’ll gain hands-on experience with coding and teamwork while developing their skills in maneuvering these cool machines in ways they never imagined.
The week wraps up with an epic showcase where campers will proudly demonstrate their newfound drone skills and creations to parents. It’s a week of high-flying fun, cutting-edge technology, and unforgettable memories—don’t miss out on the excitement at Drones @ Bancroft Summer!

THE ARTS
It’s Time to Shine! Join us for a two-week musical theater camp perfect for students interested in learning more about musical stage productions. The group will play theatre games, explore costume design, work together to create a set, practice choreography, and learn new songs.
Participants will conduct full stage performances for family, friends, and fellow Bancroft Summer Campers!

Welcome to Pixels & Palettes, where graphic design and photography come together for a creative adventure! Campers will learn the fundamentals of Adobe Photoshop—creating GIFs, designing memes, making rotoscoped music videos, and more—while mastering digital drawing techniques.
In photography, they’ll explore DSLR cameras, practice composition, and experiment with fun projects like long exposure, double exposure, and miniature set photography.
This camp blends creativity and technology, culminating in a photography showcase to celebrate their hard work and skills!

Let’s Spark our Creativity! Explore the arts at Little Spark Creative Arts camp! A two-week program where campers will get the chance to explore four different arts classes each day:
- CLOMP!– This class blends music, theater, and comedy to create an original performance.
- Mosaic Makers– Create mosaics out of glass! You’ll get to craft your own mosaic garden stepping stone.
- Theater Squad– Create your own characters through improvisation, write a play, and then perform your original show!
- Mixed Media Adventures– play and experiment with 2D and 3D art. This class includes sculpture, mixed media/collage, and sketchbook making!
At the end of the session, campers will showcase their hard work through performances and a gallery display of their original art!

LEADERSHIP & SKILLS
Welcome to Unplugged, the ultimate camp where kids take a break from screens and dive into hands-on, screen-free fun! Campers will challenge their brains with exciting chess lessons, team games, and tournaments, all while improving their skills and making new friends. Instructors will guide kids through fun chess challenges like Corner Chess and puzzles, with prizes, T-shirts, and trophies to celebrate their success.
In addition, campers will unleash their creativity in the world of Minecraft-inspired LEGO® engineering. Using LEGO® materials, they’ll build shelters, craft mystical items, and take on creative challenges straight from the Minecraft universe.
Unplugged combines critical thinking, teamwork, and creativity, providing an exciting, tech-free adventure where campers can grow, learn, and play!

All Star Athletes is the perfect camp for young sports enthusiasts who dream of becoming a team General Manager, coach, ESPN analyst, or sports team owner! This unique program offers campers a behind-the-scenes look at the business side of sports. Students will analyze and discuss topics like player contracts, mock drafts, college sports, endorsements, the Nike vs. Under Armour rivalry, e-sports, and the Super Bowl, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the sports industry.
In the afternoons, campers will hit the field with Bancroft’s own Emma Thompson, playing basketball, soccer, tennis, and more!
All Star Athletes combines exciting sports knowledge with physical activity, helping kids develop both their business acumen and athletic skills in a fun, dynamic environment!

Children immerse in the natural world and test their survival, acting, and team skills in Cinema Kidz Survivor! Learn all about making shelters, building fires, map making, orienteering, and rugged living. Children will test their wilderness skills, dream up fun personalities and personas for the show, and participate in awesome team-building indoor and outdoor games and challenges. Kids start the course by developing an original game structure for their show. Each class is spent acting in, filming, and creating their very own Survivor-inspired Show. We will then edit our show together using professional equipment and software! Kids will learn all about making short video projects from start to finish with a competitive team building twist!

Come play with your food at the CinemaKidz Cooking Show. Kids design the look and feel of the show, make an apron for the series, create cooking teams, and work in the test kitchen experimenting with various recipes to feature in each episode: from yummy favorites like vegetarian sushi and dumplings, to making homemade pastas, molecular gastronomy and food art! Participants will cook, act, direct, film, and edit several episodes in this hands-on engaging class, and finish the course with several episodes made and an original kid-made show!
