Amy Quinn (Lepley) has been working in the summer basketball camp industry for over 15 years. Growing up in Norfolk, MA, she attended Bishop Feehan High School where she played four years on the Varsity team as a standout point guard.
She played Division 1 Basketball at Holy Cross, where she was a four year Varsity Starter scoring over 1000 points and making two Patriot League Final appearances as a Crusader. She was a two-time league All Star, a member of the All Academic Team during her junior season, and a member of the All Rookie Team during her freshman campaign. She also majored in math and was a part of the Teacher Education Program to help her attain her goal of becoming a teacher. After college, Amy started her teaching career at Norwood High School and is currently in her 11th year of teaching math. She also earned her Masters in Curriculum and Teaching Mathematics in 2015 from Fitchburg State.
One of the most important parts of basketball for Amy is the ability to be versatile. She used her ball handling skills gained from being a guard in high school to impact her game when she was a post player in college. This versatility is a huge part of what she emphasizes during lectures and coaching while working with basketball players. Amy loves helping female athletes achieve their goals. She believes in not only perfecting the skill sets that athletes already possess, but also really pushing athletes to step out of their comfort zone in order to reach their full potential.
Right out of college, Amy knew she had to be involved in coaching. She became the JV coach at Norwood for two years, and then took over the Varsity program. She completed seven seasons as Varsity coach, posting an impressive record of 24-1 in the 2021-2022 season, ultimately losing in the State Finals. During her career, she has been the TVL Coach of the Year 3 times, the MBCA D2 Coach of the Year in 2019-2020, and helped her team earn the #1 seed in Division 2 in 2019-2020 and 2021-2022. She amassed 99 wins in her tenure as Varsity Coach at Norwood.
Amy is now a partner in the LLC, Campco JA, which has facilitated running the regional youth summer camps for the Boston Celtics. Her partner in the LLC, Joe Amorosino, has run these camps for a number of years, and Amy joined in being an administrator three years ago after working for Joe as a director at a number of different locations. Amy was in charge of hiring quality instructors and programming for over 30 individual Celtics camps in her tenure. She looks forward to bringing this knowledge in their new endeavor with the Campco Elite Basketball Clinics.
