Learn how to combine sentences, write detailed and interesting sentences, and begin to organize paragraphs. During our week long Writing from the Soul camp, students will explore a variety of genres (poetry, memoirs, speeches, fairy tales, and narrative prompts) which will encourage them to dig a little deeper in the thought process while also engaging the senses and soul by writing and sharing their own literary pieces throughout the week. Students will leave the camp with a toolbox of writing strategies, ideas, and confidence to continue writing from the soul.
